On the foothills of Mt. Pandeon in a village called Kokkinochori, two oenologists combined their concerns about wine and joined their experiences in the production of high quality wine to create a prototype of a 35 hectare organic vineyard. The area has the roots of the long tradition of viticulture in ancient times. Hisiodus, Theoktituss and Michael Psellos referred to the area as Biblia Chora which became the name of the land.
The ideal conditions for the cultivation of the wine are; the cool breeze of the Strymonic Gulf, the highland mass of Mt. Pangeon and the stony soil of the area. The grape varieties planted are the Greek Assyrtiko and Agiorgitiko and the foreign Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Merlot, Chardony, Syrah which are cultivated in accordance with having great regard for the environment, the standards of organic vineyard cultivation.
Commencing from maceration stage, cold stabilization, in the areas of fermentation up to the sublevel air-conditioned ageing cellars and the bottling, all the stages benefit from high technology by this contemporary winery.
